This position requires drug screen and background investigation. Duties include observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site. Provide security and safety of client property. Prepare logs and reports daily. Preserve order and be able to act to enforce regulations and directives in accordance with company policies. Make continuous foot patrols of the client property and stand in a conspicuous area when not patrolling. Other duties as assigned.

Watch Stander (Washington, DC)

The purpose of this position is to serve as a Watch Stander in the Department’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located in the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB). The watch stander provides international, national and regional situational awareness to the SEMD leadership, emergency policy team, the Secretary and 2 across the Department on all continuity and emergency events and incidents affecting the Department of Commerce (DOC). In addition, the Watch Stander will initiate HCHB emergency notification procedures in accordance with the EOC standard operation procedures (SOP) and the HCHB Occupant Emergency Plan as well as develop and maintain information data systems and support the Department in providing strategic direction during national security and emergency situations.

Physical Security Specialist (Kansas City, MO and Washington, DC)

Physical Security Specialists (PSS) perform with limited or no supervision, carries out predetermined and recurring tasks. PSS perform threat management on security incidents and serve as the law enforcement liaison when handing physical security threats towards facility or employee. The PSS will be expected to liaison with Office of Inspector General (IG) Special Agents, State and local law enforcement, and other cognizant national security, threat management, and Federal law enforcement agencies when needed. Will assist with facility/employee emergency support according to facility Occupant Emergency Plan. Will serve as a backup liaison to the Agency on any threat management or security incidents that require reporting and coordination through our higher-level headquarters and to external agencies. Kansas City specific duties include providing HSPD-12 services; such as customer card updates, enrollments, and LincPass re-routes and activations, scheduled through the GSA Scheduling Tool. Assist with the Devolution Emergency Response Group (DERG) and provide support to Agency offices throughout the United States.
